Love circle

This is a bit like the film "Love Actually"
Meet my friends Sally, Paul and James.
Sally and Paul had a fling years ago: They were good together but it never really happened. Sometimes unfortunately even 2 persons are meant to be together: They are not... Not the right moment..Work... Family: there is always something in the way.

Sally moved out of the country and met James, a nice guy, she didn't feel anything like when she met Paul but life goes on... They created a fantastic business together.
She will always know she missed her chance with Paul, they never got to be with each other. What about Paul then? He is actually in love with Sally and is kind of waiting for her.
So, in this love circle, what is the right thing to do?
It is easy to me to say to Sally: " Leave James and go to Paul" but she thinks of her business... Her house... Is it wrong or right?
I don't have an answer to that unfortunately...

All i can say to Sally : Sometimes you get what you need, not what you want....Make your destiny....

Kim Kardashian: A beautiful joke?

Paris Hilton is certainly the leader of this type of celebrity...
The "My daddy has money and my sex tape has been released publicly and of course, i did not know about it"

Let's face it, Kim Kardashian is absolutely beautiful but what else does she has?
Is she an actress? No. A model? A designer? No.
So, why is she so famous?
The sex tape helped: we can't ignore that. Followed by a crazy show "keeping up with the Kardashian".I only watch the show once in a while, I find it pretty fun, easy to watch, obviously not clever and embarrassing: You can come and film my family and i : you will get the same results: argues, happy time, girls problems, fights but without fake boobs, fake butts , fake hair and fake personalities.
Though, i appreciate the fact that Kim looks natural sometimes on the show: Bad make up after crying, terrible hair style after a fight and i must say: I admire her for that. She is obviously good in her skin and that's great to see it.

I can't help to ask myself: In this new Tv Reality world, is it enough to be pretty and have a sex tape released to make it into the famous world? Then, to make sure people don't forget about you, find a pretty famous boyfriend (not too famous, you want to be the star in your relationship and shine over his head) like Reggie Bush.

I do appreciate more her sister Khloe, she obviously suffers a bit from her sister's beauty and fame and that is why she tries to step out and i like that. She is much more natural and honest. In families, the last child is usually more eccentric and open as it has to find a place in the family without copying sisters or brothers. That is why usually, the last child is wild! Like Khloe.
I don't have much to say about Kourtney, i think she is fade and goes along with the ride without doing or saying much.

I only have to wait now and see how Kim will get along in this world and if she can find a real target in her life without embarassing TV reality, sex tapes, scandals or poor project like her perfume.

I do hope she is going to find something to do in her life. is being just beautiful ever enough to be famous? I don't think so...

It's complicated-the film

When attending their son's college graduation, a couple reignite the spark in their relationship...but the complicated fact is they're divorced and he's remarried. Directed by Nancy Meyers. With Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin.

I always LOVED Nancy Meyers films. "What women want" with Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt relates to my previous post: If only Marsiens could talk Venusien! "Something is gotta give" with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton or how to learn it is possible to love and connect again with someone when divorced or older.
I absolutely loved "it's complicated" , fabulous choice of actors as usual. Edgy and funky story, Meryl Sreet and Alec Baldwin work so well on screen. I also loved a little sarcastic touch from the actor John Krasinski (known from "The Office").

It is a story that feels real and with no hollywood ending: it is life as it is:In a great film.
Once again, Nancy Meyers offers a fantastic story of live from touching to hilarious moments.

Are Men really from Mars and Women from Venus?

What a woman has to say....
Men can't reach the laundry basket: their dirty clothes always go on THE SIDE not IN IT...
Men can't look for something properly without asking us first: "Where is it babe?"
Men think they are dying when only diagnose with a cold...

What a man has to say...
Women are very emotional and usually cry very quickly
Women spend hours in the bathroom and get us late for diner
Women spends a ridiculous amount on shoes and clothes

It has been scientifically proved that women use their entire brain whilst listening to someone and men only use half of theirs.
We have all the elements to say that men are women are different: so, why do we fall in love? We are different but not incompatible: That is the most important thing.

When you think about it, girls, would you like to see your man with 50 pairs of shoe in his wardrobe? Would you like him to spend hours in the bathroom? My point of view is NO. I don't like my man to be to feminine! After all, he is a man...

When you think about it guys... Wait a second..I am sure guys would love women to be more masculine in some ways... Some men would love their women to be more natural, to forget make up, to be cool by not losing it when he comes back home late sweating Heineken and to watch football with him happily.

Don't get me wrong, I am sure some women would like their men to be more like them: this is just not my style!
We are certainly working differently but we can't live without each other and that is what counts after all.

Lady Gaga right or wrong?

After winning 3 awards at the Brits award. I can't stop wondering: What is it about Lady Gaga? Is she an absolute futurist with a magnificent view of our world or if she another weirdo who got famous for being nuts?

Her music does not appeal to me: Yes, easy to dance on "Poker face" whilst drunk like hell in my favourite club with my girlfriends. But it is not something i would listen to in my bedroom. And trust me, depending on my mood: The music in my bedroom can be very different days after days!
After a break-up, it is usually "I am calling you" but Jevetta Steel, not Celine Dion: i try to stay class... When i am getting ready to go to a party it is Aqualight (Sebastien Leger) and i dance in my bedroom. But Lady Gaga's songs have never been welcome to my bedroom playlist, nor in my house.

Her fashion style does not work to me either: She actually scares me... To me, it is not provocative and her looks don't really match her attitude. I find her video clips cool and edgy: like her clothes but when i see her all shy and walking like a little girl in the Brits award: I don't get her.
I admire her for being who she is and stand for what she believes but is her way to see the world right or wrong? I am no one to judge.

Hair damaged

What can i say? My hair is damaged! Yours too? I have always dreamed of having Sarah jessica Parker's curls (and talk to myself whilst smoking a cigarette in my NY's flat, well..that is another subjet!)
Anyway, Dream does not really help so, I have found few solutions and it works.
First of all, let me introduce you to my hair: Thin, dry and flat, survived multiples highlights, perm, hair dryer...

I have now planned a real routine to treat my hair the best way! Mostly organic and cheap! Organic is really IN in cosmetics and even in fashion and i understand why now.
I treat now my hair like a kid: Bed time stories, cuddles and love.

I now only brush my hair with a wood comb: it doesn't tear your hair and respect it: No more hair on a plastic brush! Every night, i massage my head: yes! Improve your blood circulation to improve your hair! I won't lie to you: if you do it every night: your scalp will be greasy very quickly. If you have my type of hair, you should only wash your hair once a week!

Once a week! Chose your night! Done? I have chosen sunday. I treat and wash my hair every sunday.
I always start with applying oils or organic masques. Olive oil, almond oil, avocado oil, coconut oil... Avocado, bananas, honey masques... Then, i only use an aloe Vera shampoo and a conditioner masque (i love Schwarzkopf, i know it is not organic but sometimes, your hair needs some antibiotics!) and rinse for hours and hours!! It is very important to rinse your hair well!

After all this, i use my hair dryer (come on...no one is perfect!) and my hair is left beautiful, silky and shiny. And as I am all honest with you: Sometimes, i wash my hair twice a week: Give me a break!
Let's also add that touching and attaching your hair is also very bad when it is damaged!
